Badger's Brook Chardonnay 2000
A remarkable wine of elegance and refinement. A straw yellow in hue, it has an excellent depth on the nose and the palate. It exudes aromas of melon, green apple, citrus and candied fruit that are synthesized by an intelligent use of good quality French oak. The palate is intense and tight yet possesses delicate flavours that linger delightfully in the mouth.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve with osso bucco

Badger's Brook Chardonnay 1998
This elegant style is a deep golden colour and exhibits aromas of melon, apricot and butterscotch flavours. The palate displays an intense apricot fruit balanced by a lively acid and a depth of French oak flavour at the finish. A well balanced, complex wine which will continue to develop for up to fifteen years.
Sommelier's Tip: A nice drop to accompany grilled fish.

Badger's Brook Pinot Noir 2000
This small boutique wine is a cacker. Deep in colour, this really delicious Pinot has some sappy, herbal scents together with deep, ripe, black cherry and sweet berry aromas coupled with subtle oak overtones. While the palate is very deep, it has developed a concentrated sweet and nicely balanced black-cherry fruit. It has chewy weight, density and richness at the finish.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve with roasted duck.

Badger's Brook Pinot Noir 1998
This is an outstanding Pinot Noir of a medium crimson red colour. The wine has complex aromas of concentrated cherries, spice, plum, nutty oak and mint. Its full, firm palate has tight, rich earthy flavours and is generously smooth. This superb wine finishes with terrific length and structure and will cellar well for years.
Sommelier's Tip: Impress your friends and serve with roasted lamb.

Badger's Brook Shiraz 2001
This boutique Yarra Valley Shiraz is a rarity. The winemaker has selected the best fruit to produce a low yield style full of fruit concentration. The wine has tremendous depth of colour with gamey, spicy, cherry plum and coconut aromas with a firm oak backbone. The tannins are smooth and fine. The palate has a multilayering of plum pudding, chocolate and vanilla oak flavours with a refined and enduring finish. Cellar for up to 10 years.

Barking Owl Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2001
This great value Western Australian blend has a bright yellow-green hue. The vibrant nose displays aromas of fresh herbs, green beans, lemon, pear and melon fruit. It is a fine and soft on the tongue with great tropical fruit richness. It has a dry but not austere finish with soft lemon aromas developing well. Drinking well now and for a few years to come.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve with stir-fried noodles.

This lovely wine is crisp and fruity in a slightly sweet, easy drinking style. Light in colour, it is full, quite rich and aromatic with strong, ripe lychee, lemon and spice flavours. Cellar for up to three years.

Barramundi Semillon Chardonnay
This pale coloured wine has scents of fresh herbs combined with appealing aromas of pineapple and tropical fruits. A crisp, racy wine, it has intense, mouth-filling lime/lemon and herbal flavours on the palate. This lovely, soft, light bodied wine will seduce most of your dinner party guests. Cellar for two to three years.

Barramundi Shiraz Merlot
This great value, fruity style is smooth and easy to drink. Of a sumptuous red-velvet colour, its nose exudes scents of ripe blackberries, almost jammy fruit with overlays of spiced oak. It displays clean, soft, sweet, concentrated blackberry flavours on the palate and is well balanced by gentle, persuasive tannins. Drink over the next couple of years.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve to friends with a cream-based pasta dish.

Bianchet Merlot Cabernet Shiraz 1995
A strawberry colour in the glass, this wine exudes aromas of mulberry, plum, dark chocolate and licorice with oak undertones. Well balanced on the palate, this blend rewards with warm, soft and voluptuous mulberry flavours and finishes with firm, silky tannins. Ready to enjoy now.
Sommelier's Tip: This wine can handle spicy noodle dishes.

Bianchet Semillon 1996
An attractive pale straw in colour, this delightful, elegant wine exudes the scent of flowers, geraniums in particular. On the palate its creamy texture enhances the power, depth and complexity of the wine. This, coupled with a rewarding layering of fruit flavours, shows the skill of the winemaker in his use of new, small French oak barrels. This wine has the potential to be kept and matured for up to twenty years.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve before the main meal with a plate of antipasto.

Bianchet Verduzzo 1995
This pale yellow wine exudes a delicious mix of dried apricots, mixed nuts and bitter almond. The palate is luscious and creamy with mouthfilling flavours of nuts and fruit combined with a satisfying depth of good acid at the finish. This is an interesting wine that will develop further in the cellar for a few more years.

This attractive, medium-bodied, reddish wine has sweet raspberry scents on the nose mingled with crushed mint leaf, dark chocolate and oak cigarbox aromas. Its elegance is revealed on the palate with an abundance of voluptuous raspberry fruit flavours, soft tannins and a deliciously well-balanced, lingering after taste. Keep in the cellar for up to four years.

A lovely deep straw colour, this classic South Australian Chardonnay has a nose of sweet vanilla scents layered with peach and apricot. It is a well structured, delicate wine with subtle oak overtones. The flavours linger delightfully. Lay this one down for up to five years.
Sommelier's Tip: Partner this one with tasty, grilled chicken.

Brown's of Padthaway Redwood Red 1996
This classic blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec grapes has a cherry hue. A nose of damp earth, dry spice, cinnamon and plum-cherry perfumes exudes from the glass. The palate displays an elegance of soft ripe fruit balanced by smooth tannins and oak barrel undertones. With elegant, sweet fruit mid-palate, it is a trim, tight wine and is very easy to enjoy now.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve with lamb ragout.

Browns' of Padthaway Sauvignon Blanc 1999
This straw-coloured wine has tropical mango and ripe pawpaw fragrances on the nose, garnished with scents of crushed lime. Lively in the mouth, this is an elegant and clean Sauvignon Blanc exhibiting hints of tropical fruit salad flavours with a satisfying complexity and depth of finish. It will keep in the cellar for a time but is perfect to enjoy now on a hot day!

The palate displays some rich fruit complexity balanced nicely with oak spice characteristics and long mulberry and raspberry flavours at the finish. Cellar for more than eight years.

A beautiful straw colour in the glass, the nose of this impressive Verdelho exhibits fragrances of rich herbs and stone fruit balanced by the aroma of squeezed pineapple. This remarkable, rich, elegant wine shows a depth of fruit flavour and has a long, lingering finish. It will keep well in the cellar for about five years.

Browns' of Padthaway Redwood White 1997
A blended white made from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Verdelho grapes, this wine is a yellowish hue with an unusual bouquet of tropical fruit, apricot, honey and minerals, with herbaceous overtones. It is lively on palate, oily and rich, displaying the development due to graceful bottle age. It has a long and intense finish underscored by a frisky acidity. This wine can be cellared for two or more years.
Sommelier's Tip: Serve to compliment fresh tuna.
