Exciting New Market Opening for Australian Wine and Asia Wine Connection On April 12, 2002 an agreement was signed with Cold Storage Singapore, a leading supermarket chain, and who currently represent the largest share of the total wine market in Singapore, to appoint Asia Wine Connection as their supply chain manager and exclusive buying agent for all Australian and New Zealand boutique wines. This appointment is part of a new Strategic Wine Initiative which will see Cold Storage consolidate and grow its existing strong market position by the introduction of this direct buying approach combined with new innovative channel strategies. The Singapore wine market is believed to be valued at around A$90m by the Australian Trade Commission as of year end 2000. April 2002
